I first started in the dental field because of the impact that my own hygienist made on me, when I was growing up. It feels great to come to work every day knowing that I help keep patients healthy and add to the quality of their everyday life. My favorite part of working with this office is getting to use all of the great technology. Dr. Farina loves to stay current on the latest technology, newest dental procedures and the highest training standards. The whole team here is always finding ways to improve the quality of care we deliver. Everything we do is centered around helping us to better serve our patients.
I graduated from the University of New England in 2007 with honors and was inducted into Sigma Phi Alpha, the dental hygiene national honor society. My home life is enriched by John, my husband, and our son Jack and daughter Emily.
I have been a dental hygienist for more than 30 years now and love it as much as I did when I graduated. The patients are always my top priority, especially when it comes to helping educate them about the benefits of preventive care through good, regular habits and diet. I strive to answer all their questions and help them understand their treatments. It is unbelievable all we can do for their oral health and smile these days! I love working with Dr. Farina who is really a great and supportive mentor to us all. He is super dedicated and sets the perfect example.
In my personal life, I am married with two grown daughters. My husband I have one dog and two cats. In my leisure time, I try to relax and love to spend it laughing with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, reading, making cards and collecting and selling baskets.
The conversations I have with our patients and their families make my days enjoyable. My primary job is ensuring that each of our patients has a great experience every time they visit! I make sure our treatment schedules match their needs, and I help people get the most out of their insurance benefits while minimizing any foreseeable snags or delays. I also ensure that the financing options we offer work for them and their smile goals. Dr. Farina is caring and sensitive and just knows how to put patients and staff alike at ease. Our team works well together and we have fun coming to work each day. It is great to work in an atmosphere where you come into work smiling!
At home, my family and friends are very important to me so I always look forward to spending time with them. I grew up in this area and live with my partner Joe, and our three daughters. My favorite activities often involve sports and being outdoors.
I like bringing smiles to my patients. It is great helping them relax and enjoy their visits. I started in the dental field in 1982, joined this office in 2003, and it is still a pleasure each day. I am always learning new things from Dr. Farina, who is very patient and easy to work with. Professionally, the esthetic treatments we offer are the most fascinating for me. It is beautiful to see and be a part of someone receiving the smile of their dreams!
Away from work, I am a mother of three, and have been married for 30 years. We have fun bowling together. I also enjoy gardening, snowmobiling and spending time with my family.
Dr. Farina has an innate ability to teach and inspire us both individually and as a team. I have come to see him as a true mentor. We all value his kindness and generosity. It is easy to see why our patients feel so safe and relaxed with him. Like him, the team here also has a way with people. You will notice that from the time you first enter the office. I enjoy interacting with our patients, too. Their smiles just make me so happy! My job keeps me busy teaching patients how to prevent dental problems, performing cleanings on patients’ teeth, doing oral cancer screenings, and treating periodontal disease and gingivitis.
At home, I love passing time with my husband Ryan, friends, and my dogs Capone and Amelia.
Seeing the way that Dr. Farina inspires trust in our patients is amazing. You see it in how good he is with those he treats, our team, and in his dedication to his profession. He is constantly improving the practice with the latest training, newest methods, and most advanced equipment. He keeps our team on our toes! For me, it is meaningful to be a part of all of it by assisting wherever I am needed to help keep the office running smoothly and your visit enjoyable.
On a more personal note, my husband Stephen and I have been happily together for more than 30 years and have three wonderful children, Christopher, Chandra and Collin and his wife Shannon.
I am impressed every day by the sincerity and devotion that Dr. Farina has with his patients and to this practice. He is personally vested in the well-being of each and every one of his patients and truly cares about improving their view of the dental field and their quality of life. Not only does he constantly seek to further his own education and training, but he also makes sure the team does the same. I oversee the day-to-day operations of our practice and provide managerial support to the staff and Dr. Farina, to ensure that we are constantly improving our skills and the quality of services we deliver. Our goal is always to give you and your family the best experience possible! There is such a reward in seeing people smile and knowing you were a part of that transformation.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband David and our son Caleb and our adorable Yorkie named "Buddy". I love to cook, take on a do-it-yourself project around the house, go to the beach or simply just enjoy the day with my family and friends.
The greatest thing about coming to work every day is our patients! I have been working here since 1989 and have never stopped making new friends. It has been really inspiring and pleasurable working around people like Dr. Farina and my coworkers. They love what they do as much as I do. I enjoy working one-on-one with our patients to help them understand their treatments and full range of options. I also assist Dr. Farina from start to finish with orthodontic cases, and in all operative and restorative treatments.
In my personal life, I am the mother of two grown sons. I love to spend time with my family and friends, cook and bake, or do things outdoors like going for walks, gardening, biking, hiking or skiing.
